Church tradition and doctrine does not allow d ordination of female priests.Wel i'm strongly in agreement wt d church and do not tink it iz proper for there 2be female priests.But wat do u tink should females be allowed into d priesthood??? *

I think that it is not unreasonable to allow the ordination of women. If the argument against this is based upon tradition being upheld then attention to the many ecumenical councils is warranted. For has tradition not undergone progressive change as an outcome of the councils convening? *

I'm opposed to female ordination in the church of england. Now they are saying that we will have a female bishop by 2012. I will become a roman catholic. *

difficult argument for or against. well the good side is as an ever changing and growing society a woman priest may help modernise the church and bring new members to the church the bad side its against tradition and we may loose the more stricter followers or cause contraversy. *

Lets nt get ahead of ourselves the church in my opinion shud not allow the ordination of female priests. Secondly priesthood is not a forcing matter 1cor.7 our priests wl remain unmarried.. *

There many options to take...the world 2de is dynamic and many other churches are changing with the world so no1 is really left out. If sum1 wud leave the church based on its lack of female priests then they have another thing coming. Am glad the church is stiff regardn the female ordination-no offence bt as women we are pushn ds gender thing 2 far. *

And if we read on in 1Tim.2.14 and Adam was not d one decieved, it was d woman who was deceived and became a sinner. . . I thnk this text suggests that a woman might b more open to temptation than a man.... *

So the fact that God will poor out his spirit on both men and women alike on the last days don't count? Jesus had women followers! So all those women that God will poor out his spirit on in the last days, what are to bec*m of these women? Do we ignore them and inturn ignore the important work of God and the work that they mite be doing? Not to mention the word of God which says that they contain his spirit. I believe women should be ordained... Maybe the amount of molestations in the church would decrease! *
